Just let us know your preference. Bobotie is minced beef and lamb is slowly cooked with various aromatic spices such as turmeric, coriander, cumin and lemon tree leaves. The addition of dried apricots, sultana's and almonds give the Bobotie a wonderful sweet and sour flavor. The mince mixture is placed in a bowl, topped with an omlette base (egg and milk) and baked in the oven until the yellow, green top browns. Bobotie is usually served with yellow rice, made using turmeric and raisins, complemented with a topping of fruit chutney.
